Trust the song it knows what it wants. Cramming an idea down its  throat that doesn't belong is like  putting on a pair of wet skinny jeans. It can be done, but why?

To be a great producer you must create a safe timeless place for  the imagination and magic allowing the songs to become.

Write unburdened by formula, overthinking or time. The effort of pencil to paper is evidence of inspiration and devotion, editing requires discipline.
